We offer you a recipe for making lecho from bell pepper with the addition of tomato paste - it perfectly replaces tomatoes and significantly reduces the cooking time of lecho. For cooking, you just need to peel and chop the pepper.

We wash the pepper under running water, put it on a kitchen towel and leave it to glass the water. Then we cut each pepper in half, remove the stalk and seeds.

Cut the pepper into thin strips and put in a basin.

Pour water into a saucepan, add tomato paste, salt, sugar and spices, vinegar and vegetable oil to it, mix all the ingredients well and put on fire, bring to a boil.

After the marinade has boiled, pour chopped pepper into it, bring the mass to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for about 15 minutes, while remembering to stir.

We lay out the finished hot lecho on pre-sterilized jars and tighten with boiled lids. We leave the jars of lecho at room temperature until they cool completely, then put them away for storage in a dark place.
