Homemade lecho can be served as an independent snack, as well as as a dressing for meat. A fragrant and spicy vegetable dish will complement your dining table all year round.

We wash the tomatoes, grind them. If possible, do it in a blender. Then add salt, sugar, pepper, bay leaf and black pepper to the gruel. Put on the stove, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

We wash the rest of the vegetables. Chop the onion, pass the carrots through a coarse grater. Cut the pepper into medium-sized slices. Put the carrots and onions in a frying pan preheated with oil and simmer for 5-10 minutes. We make sure that the ingredients do not burn, so we constantly stir.

Then we spread the chopped tomatoes and peppers, mix and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.

Add vinegar to the workpiece, mix and pour the hot contents over sterilized jars. We close with lids and send for storage. Ready!
