Lecho for the winter without tomatoes

Lecho is a versatile seaming dish for the winter. Many housewives love it for its simplicity and speed of preparation, excellent storage and, of course, for the fact that the finished product goes well with any dishes, both meat and fish. Lecho for the winter without a tomato is suitable for those who want to discover a new taste of a familiar dish.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Wash and dry the Bulgarian peppers. Remove the stalk and core with seeds from each pepper. Cut the peppers into random, not very large pieces.
step 2 out of 4
Pour water, vegetable oil into a saucepan, add salt and sugar. Put the marinade in a saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil. When the salt and sugar are completely dissolved, add the vinegar.
step 3 out of 4
Send chopped bell peppers to the marinade, simmer them under a lid over low heat for about 10 minutes.
step 4 out of 4
Banks and lids for preservation are lecho sterilized. Arrange the ready-made bell peppers in the marinade in the jars. Roll up the jars hermetically, turn them upside down, wrap them with a blanket and leave to cool for a day. The cooled lecho will be perfectly stored in a cool, dark place. Bon Appetit!
