Lecho for the winter with peppers and tomatoes

A jar of delicious lecho, prepared for the winter, will diversify the family menu and present a truly delicious snack. Juicy and aromatic, with it any dish will become even more appetizing. Do not be too lazy to prepare more of these jars!

First, we wash the tomatoes and remove the petioles from them. We make a cruciform incision on the opposite side of the petiole. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and leave for 10 minutes. Then cool with water and remove the peel.

Grind the tomatoes with a blender into a monotonous puree.

We clean the carrots and cut into large pieces so that they feel good in lecho.

We also chop the onions and peppers into larger pieces.

Mix all the prepared ingredients in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil. Season with spices, add sugar and salt. Stir and simmer for 30 minutes. after boiling.

Add chopped garlic and vinegar. We keep on fire for another 5 minutes. and put it in sterilized jars. Roll up and leave at room temperature until it cools completely.
