Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
We wash the rice until clear water. Pour into a saucepan, fill with water and put on the stove. Cook until half cooked for ten to fifteen minutes. Throw in a colander, let the liquid drain completely and cool.
step 2 out of 8
Peel the onions (1 pc.), Cut into small cubes.
step 3 out of 8
In a bowl of a suitable size, mix the turkey mince, chopped onions, chilled rice, egg, paprika, nutmeg and salt to taste.
step 4 out of 8
Mix all ingredients thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Separate small pieces of minced meat with wet hands and form cutlets. We roll them between our palms so that future stuffed cabbage rolls are smooth and dense.
step 5 out of 8
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and put on the stove. We heat the oil until hot. We spread the cabbage rolls in a skillet and fry at medium temperature until golden brown on all sides.
step 6 out of 8
Peel the second onion, cut into thin semicircles. We also peel and grate the carrots with large holes. Put the sun-dried tomatoes with butter in a deep frying pan, put on the stove. While the tomatoes are heating up, lay out the prepared onions and carrots. We mix all the ingredients and cook on the average temperature of the stove for two to three minutes.
step 7 out of 8
We wash the cabbage, dry it and cut it into large pieces. We put the cabbage in a frying pan with vegetables, mix, put salt and black pepper to taste. Pour in the cream and simmer until the cabbage is almost completely cooked.
step 8 out of 8
We put the fried cabbage rolls on top of the vegetables, add water, if necessary, so that the liquid covers the cutlets up to half. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the cabbage is fully cooked and until the crust of the cabbage is softened. Serve hot stuffed cabbage rolls, sprinkle with chopped herbs and add sour cream if desired.
