Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls like in the dining room

Lazy cabbage rolls are so called not because they are prepared by lazy housewives, but because of the simplified cooking method, the meat does not need to be wrapped in cabbage leaves. Some may even find this dish tastier than the standard dish.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Peel the onion, rinse and chop finely.
step 2 out of 8
Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
step 3 out of 8
Fry the onions and carrots in sunflower oil until half cooked.
step 4 out of 8
Add minced meat to a frying pan to vegetables, stir, fry for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then salt and season.
step 5 out of 8
Wash the head of cabbage and cut it into thin strips.
step 6 out of 8
Simmer the cabbage in another pan; it should become softer.
step 7 out of 8
Peel off the tomato. To do this, make an incision on the tomatoes, then immerse them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, after which the skin will easily come off. Grind the tomatoes in a blender.
step 8 out of 8
Put half of the stewed cabbage on the bottom of a deep saucepan, put the minced meat on it in an even layer, then another layer of stewed cabbage. Pour the tomato puree over the contents of the pan, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 30-35 minutes. Stir lazy cabbage rolls periodically and taste with salt 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking. Lazy cabbage rolls go well with sour cream or mayonnaise.

Bon Appetit!
