Lazy cabbage rolls in the oven

Lazy cabbage rolls are one of the most popular dishes of Slavic cuisine. They are easy to prepare and can feed a large family. And households, as a rule, are just crazy about their taste. Try a very interesting recipe for stuffed cabbage baked in the oven. Real jam!

Peel the carrots and remove the husks from the bulbs. Cut the onion into small pieces, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Then fry the vegetables in hot vegetable oil until golden brown. We set aside part of this frying for cabbage rolls, and use the rest of the buoy for sauce.

Boil water and boil rice in it, so that it is crumbly.

My cabbage, cut it into 2 parts, large and small. Finely chop most of it with a knife, but if you have a blender, you can chop the cabbage with it.

Mix the rest of the vegetable frying with the tomato sauce and fry on the stove for a few minutes.

Now add water to the sauce. Squeeze the garlic through a press and also send it to the pan. Salt and season the sauce. Add bay leaves and stir. Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.

Cut the remaining cabbage into oblong pieces and put on the bottom of a baking sheet.

We form circles from the mixture for stuffed cabbage. Put them on a baking sheet and fill with the prepared sauce. We put everything in the oven and bake for 40 minutes. Set the temperature to 180 degrees.
