Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken

This dish is intended for those who like to eat deliciously and do not have enough time to prepare delicious food. To keep the stuffed cabbage rolls well, add oatmeal to the minced meat. We simmer cabbage rolls in a frying pan and in a fragrant sour cream-tomato sauce.

Wash the chicken fillet and cut into medium pieces. Then twist the meat into a meat grinder with a medium wire rack or grind in a blender bowl at low speed so that the minced meat is not fine.

Chop a slice of cabbage into thin strips or small squares, put it in a bowl and pour boiling water over for 15 minutes to soften the cabbage. Then drain the water, add oatmeal to the cabbage and mix everything.

Peel the onion and carrots, rinse them and also chop them in a meat grinder or blender. Divide the resulting vegetable mass in half and leave one half for the minced meat. and the second for the sauce.

Put the minced chicken in a separate bowl, add the vegetable mixture and cabbage with oatmeal to it. In a cup, beat two eggs until frothy and pour this mixture over the minced meat. Then salt the minced meat, sprinkle with pepper, add wheat flour and chopped fresh herbs (dill) and mix everything well.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Shape the minced meat into patties with wet hands and fry them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Transfer the fried cabbage rolls to a separate plate.

In a skillet with the remaining oil after frying, transfer the rest of the vegetable mass from the carrots and onions. Simmer these vegetables for a few minutes and then add water, tomato and sour cream. Stir the sauce well and add a little salt. Put the fried cabbage rolls into this sauce and simmer them under a closed lid and over low heat for 30-40 minutes. Cabbage rolls, soaked in the sauce, will increase in size.
