Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls with meat

Cabbage rolls are a traditional dish that is prepared differently in every family. Cabbage rolls are prepared with various types of meat, with and without rice. I propose to cook cabbage rolls with meat, despite the fact that they are lazy, you will also have to make an effort. The dish turns out to be very tasty and satisfying.

Prepare ingredients for lazy cabbage rolls. Peel the onion.

Cut the white cabbage into small pieces.

Rinse long grain rice well under running water several times. Add a pot of water, salt, bring to a boil, and add the washed rice. Once the rice has boiled, cook it for about five minutes.

Then drain the rice through a sieve or colander and set aside until it cools completely.

Boil a pot of water, add salt, add chopped cabbage and boil it for ten minutes. Then drain the cabbage through a colander. Do not pour out the liquid from the cabbage. You will need it to make the sauce.

Pass the lean part of the pork together with the onions through a meat grinder. Add boiled rice and cabbage to the resulting minced meat, break a chicken egg, add spices to taste.

Cover the skillet with a lid, bring the sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer the cabbage rolls for about 40 minutes.

Serve the prepared cabbage rolls in portions. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Cabbage rolls can be served as an independent dish or with a side dish.
