The stuffed cabbage rolls prepared according to this recipe are very tasty and aromatic. Distinctive features of lazy cabbage rolls in layers - they look like a casserole, cook quickly and easily, saving you time. The taste of this dish is in no way inferior to the classic one.

We wash the carrots, then peel them and rub them on a coarse grater.

Remove the husk from the onions and chop them into small cubes.

Place the minced meat in a deep container. You can use any minced meat, be guided by your own taste. Add the prepared ingredients to the minced meat - washed rice, chopped onions and carrots. Season with ground pepper and salt. We mix everything.

Rinse the white cabbage with water, remove the top leaves and then chop it.

We take a spacious pan and start laying out the dish: first, add about a third of the total amount of chopped cabbage, lay the same amount of minced meat on top of it, and so alternate the layers 2-3 times. Spread the cabbage with the top layer.

Let's prepare the sauce. In a container we dilute the tomato paste and water, add a little salt, stir and pour into the contents of the pan.

Simmer the cabbage rolls in layers over low heat for about 15 minutes, then add the bay leaf for flavor and continue to simmer everything until fully cooked for about 40 minutes more. Serve the dish hot or warm. If desired, lazy cabbage rolls can be decorated with fresh herbs.
