Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Finely chop the cabbage, put in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Let stand for 5 minutes. The cabbage will soften slightly. Then we drain the water and squeeze out the cabbage. At this time, we wash the rice, put it in a saucepan and boil until tender, drain the water and let it cool.
step 2 out of 7
Add boiled rice, minced meat and eggs, salt and pepper to the cabbage. We knead everything well.
step 3 out of 7
From the minced meat we form cabbage rolls, pressing the minced meat a little so that they do not fall apart during the cooking process. Roll them in flour.
step 4 out of 7
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over medium heat and put stuffed cabbage in it. Fry them on both sides for a couple of minutes.
step 5 out of 7
We clean the carrots, wash and rub on a coarse grater. Peel the onion, rinse and cut into half rings. We put the cauldron on the fire, pour vegetable oil on the bottom. Put onions and carrots in a cauldron, sauté for several minutes.
step 6 out of 7
Put the fried cabbage rolls on the sautéed vegetables in a cauldron. In a bowl, mix the garlic, salt and pepper, tomato sauce and dilute with a little water. Add the resulting sauce to the cabbage rolls and fill with water so that it covers the cabbage rolls, and bring to a boil. Then put a few cabbage leaves on top, add bay leaves. Reduce heat, cover and leave to simmer in a cauldron for 30-40 minutes.
step 7 out of 7
Turn off the finished cabbage rolls, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Bon Appetit!
