Lazy dumplings with strawberries

Lazy dumplings are a familiar taste from childhood. This dish comes out most delicious during the season of fresh berries, when whole large strawberries can be wrapped in curd dough. This delicacy will not leave indifferent any kid, and also diversifies the breakfasts of the adult part of the family.

First, prepare and measure out all the ingredients for making lazy strawberry dumplings. Take cottage cheese fat, not liquid.

Beat the chicken egg into a bowl, add sugar to it to taste. You can take more or less than the stated amount, depending on your preference. Grind the egg and sugar well, beat with a whisk.

Next, put the cottage cheese in a bowl and mix it with the egg.

Gradually sift flour into the curd and knead the dough, adjusting the amount of flour depending on the result. Since different flours produce different density and stickiness of the dough, its amount can be more or less.

Divide the dough you have made into three portions. Make equal strips out of these pieces, with a strawberry groove in the middle of the strip.

Remove the stalks from previously washed and dried strawberries and place the berries in even rows in the grooves of the curd dough.

Connect the edges of future dumplings so that the strawberries are wrapped inside the dough. Using a knife sprinkled with flour, cut the roll into equal pieces.

Put the dumplings in boiling salted water and boil for five minutes from the moment of boiling over low heat.
