Lazy chicken beshbarmak

Lazy beshbarmak is a simplified version of the traditional Kazakh cuisine. For its preparation, special ready-made noodles for beshbarmak or leaves for lasagna are taken, because without them you will just get pasta with meat.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Rinse the chicken carcass well. Peel the carrots and onion for broth.
step 2 out of 8
Place the chicken in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Add onions, carrots and a laurel leaf to it. Boil the chicken until tender and over low heat. Do not cover the saucepan with a lid so that the broth is transparent. Remove the foam from the surface with a small strainer.
step 3 out of 8
Remove the cooked chicken from the broth. Also remove the vegetables and laurel and strain the broth.
step 4 out of 8
Peel and chop four onions into thin half rings. Transfer the onion to a separate bowl and cover with boiling broth for 7 minutes. Then discard the onion in a colander.
step 5 out of 8
Leave part of the strained broth for serving beshbarmak.
step 6 out of 8
Separate the boiled chicken meat from the bones and cut with a knife or divide by hand into small pieces.
step 7 out of 8
In the remaining broth, boil the beshbarmak noodles until tender. Transfer the finished noodles with a slotted spoon to a large platter.
step 8 out of 8
Spread the chicken pieces on top of the noodles. Place the onion in the center of the dish. Sprinkle everything with black pepper, pour hot broth and lazy chicken beshbarmak can be served.
