Cheese cake made from yeast dough in the oven

A cake made from yeast dough with cheese is somewhat reminiscent of khachapuri, and pizza, and lush pita bread, and, in fact, is a variant of a hearty snack bakery. It can be used instead of bread, as well as served on its own with tea or coffee. Any cheese is suitable for the filling. Such a cake is especially good with suluguni. After cooling, the product remains soft and tasty. Heating up in the microwave will help to restore juiciness and plasticity to the cheese filling.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
We immediately prepare the dough for the dough. To do this, pour four tablespoons of warm milk into a bowl, add dry yeast, as well as salt and granulated sugar in the specified amount. Mix everything thoroughly and leave in a warm place for ten minutes to activate the yeast.
step 2 out of 8
While the dough is ripening, put soft butter in a separate bowl. We break the eggs to it and grind everything together until smooth. Then pour in the remaining warm milk, mix. Add the matched dough, mix again. Pour the sifted flour in portions and knead the soft, non-sticky dough.
step 3 out of 8
Knead it until smooth, roll it into a ball, place it in a deep bowl, tighten it with cling film and put it in a warm place for an hour and a half to rise.
step 4 out of 8
To prepare the filling, three cheese on a coarse grater. Divide the matched dough into two equal parts. Round each part into a ball and roll it out on a floured surface into a thin cake.
step 5 out of 8
Put the filling in the middle of the cake - grated cheese. At the same time, we leave a little cheese shavings for sprinkling the surface of the cakes.
step 6 out of 8
Raise the free edges of the cake, put it together over the filling and pinch it tightly with your fingers. Turn the resulting "bag" over, lightly press it with palms and additionally roll it out with a rolling pin to make the cake more even and flat. We do the same with the second part of the test.
step 7 out of 8
Slightly deepen the middle of the stuffed cakes by pressing with the palm of your hand. Shake the egg well together with sour cream in a separate bowl and grease the depression on the cakes with the resulting mixture. Sprinkle the damp surface with the left grated cheese.
step 8 out of 8
Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil or cover with oiled parchment. We transfer the cakes to it and leave them to rise before baking for fifteen to twenty minutes. Then we set the baking sheet in the oven already preheated to 180 degrees and bake the products for twenty to twenty five minutes. We take the finished cakes out of the oven, transfer them to a serving plate and grease them with butter for juiciness. Serve hot.

Bon Appetit!
