Chanterelles marinated in oil

We offer you another option for harvesting chanterelles for the winter - fried in a pan and rolled in a large amount of butter. If desired, you can add rosemary or hot pepper pod to the jar. Mushrooms prepared according to our recipe are surprisingly tender, with a delicate creamy taste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
We clean the chanterelles of debris and rinse them under running water.
step 2 out of 4
Then cut the mushrooms into small pieces.
step 3 out of 4
Put the mushrooms in a dry skillet and fry over medium heat, stirring frequently. The chanterelles will let the juice in, close the pan with a lid and leave the mushrooms to fry until the moisture evaporates. Then add vegetable oil to the pan and fry the chanterelles until golden brown.
step 4 out of 4
We lay out the finished hot chanterelles in sterilized jars, without reporting to the neck of the 2-2.5 cm jar. From above, pour melted hot butter into each jar so that it completely covers the mushrooms. Then we twist the jars with boiled lids. Leave at room temperature until it cools completely and put it in a cool dark place for storage.
