Oven baked chanterelles

Chanterelles baked in sour cream are a fragrant and hearty dish that will suit both a festive and an everyday table. Chanterelles in sour cream sauce go equally well with boiled or fried potatoes, spaghetti or boiled rice. Sour cream gives chanterelles a delicate texture and an amazing creamy aroma, and a small amount of spices and herbs will successfully emphasize the taste of mushrooms without interrupting it with their aromas.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Peel onions and garlic, rinse and chop into small cubes. Put in a preheated pan with a little butter and fry until golden brown.
step 2 out of 5
We clean the chanterelles, rinse them several times in running water and put them in a frying pan with butter. Fry the mushrooms over medium heat until the liquid evaporates.
step 3 out of 5
Then add fried onions and garlic to the pan to the chanterelles, half the specified norm of sour cream, mix and simmer over low heat for 8-10 minutes.
step 4 out of 5
After the mushrooms are stewed, add the second half of sour cream, chopped herbs, salt and pepper to them. Mix everything well and remove from heat. Then we spread the mass in a baking dish, evenly distributing it over the width of the entire form, and level it on top with a spatula. We put the mold in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake the mushrooms for 10-15 minutes.
step 5 out of 5
We take the finished casserole out of the oven, let it cool slightly and put it on portioned plates. Serve with hot boiled potatoes and herbs.

Bon Appetit!
