Raspberries through a meat grinder with sugar without cooking for the winter

If you want to prepare raspberries for the winter, the best way is to make “live” jam out of them. We simply pass the berries through a meat grinder, mix with sugar in a certain proportion and pack them in sterile jars. Such a blank will delight you with a natural taste and aroma on winter days and will be stored until the next season.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We sort out raspberries from accidental inclusions, debris, defective copies. We examine the raw materials: if the berries are visually clean, then we leave them as they are and do not wash them. If rinsing is necessary, then place the raspberries in small portions in a colander or sieve and quickly rinse with cool water. After washing, sprinkle the berries on a towel and let them dry from excess moisture.
step 2 out of 5
We pass the prepared raspberries through a meat grinder with a fine grid.
step 3 out of 5
Pour granulated sugar into the resulting puree. Mix everything together with a spatula. We leave the mass for an hour or two to stand at room temperature so that all the sugar is dissolved.
step 4 out of 5
Additionally, then mix thoroughly again.
step 5 out of 5
The jars with lids are thoroughly washed and then sterilized in any usual way. Let the container dry completely. Pour the raspberry mass with sugar into prepared dry jars and close with dry sterile lids. We store such a blank in a dry, dark, cool place - a cellar or refrigerator.
Bon Appetit!
