Raspberries mashed with sugar in the freezer for the winter

Another way to harvest raspberries for the winter. No cooking. We will not roll the workpiece into the jars, but freeze it in the freezer. The good thing about this method is that it doesn't require a lot of sugar. Basically, you can add as much of it as you like, according to your own taste preferences. This will not affect storage in any way.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We carefully sort out the raspberries, remove random debris, remove specimens with defects, foulbrood and strong dirt. It is undesirable to wash the berries, since delicate raspberries absorb moisture very well and quickly become watery, which will adversely affect the taste of the workpiece.
step 2 out of 6
Grind the prepared raspberries in any way available to you. You can use for this both electric assistants - a submersible or stationary blender, a meat grinder, a kitchen chopper, or a good old hand pusher. In the latter case, the raspberry puree will be more textured.
step 3 out of 6
Pour granulated sugar into the resulting raspberry puree, mix. We put the mixture in the refrigerator for two to three hours so that the sugar can dissolve.
step 4 out of 6
After that, if necessary, stir the raspberries again so that the remaining sugar disperses completely. It is convenient to use plastic containers for freezing. We wash them thoroughly and wipe them dry. Fill the containers with the cooked puree, close the lids and place in the freezer.
step 5 out of 6
In a day, the puree freezes to a solid state.
step 6 out of 6
Before using the puree, let it thaw and warm up - fragrant raspberries will show their aroma and natural taste.
Bon Appetit!
