Raspberries in their own juice without sugar for the winter

We offer a recipe for harvesting raspberries for the winter without a single gram of sugar. The berries will be perfectly stored in their own juice. All thanks to sterilization: during the heat treatment, the berries will juice and disinfected.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We sort out raspberries: we examine each berry in order to prevent defective specimens and to remove all bugs. You do not need to wash the berries, we leave them as they are. If there are contaminated fruits, they can be quickly washed with cool water and then dried on a towel. We wash the jars with lids and let them dry
step 2 out of 5
Pour the prepared raspberries into clean jars to the top. Berries will settle during sterilization. We leave a certain amount of raspberries to be added to the jars during the sterilization process. Cover with lids.
step 3 out of 5
In a wide saucepan or basin, lay a towel, put cans of raspberries on it and pour in water in such an amount that it reaches the level of the cans' shoulders. We put on the stove and bring to a boil. We boil for twenty to twenty-five minutes over low heat.
step 4 out of 5
We open the lids and present the berries. Cover with lids again and continue to sterilize until the berries in the jars are completely covered with juice. It will take approximately another half hour. Then we take out the cans one at a time and carefully tighten the lids.
step 5 out of 5
We turn the sealed cans upside down to check the tightness and leave to cool. We put the cooled jars with raspberries in a cool dark place for storage.
Bon Appetit!
