Raspberries in their own juice without cooking for the winter

We offer a recipe for harvesting raspberries in their own juice for the winter. The good thing about this method is that you can add as much sugar as you see fit - according to taste and your own dietary considerations. The berries in the jar are sterilized, so sugar acts here exclusively as a sweetener, not a preservative.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We carefully sort out raspberries, we get rid of debris, bugs, defective and rotten berries. You do not need to wash the raspberries, we leave them as they are. I wash the jars with lids and let them dry.
step 2 out of 5
We put the prepared raspberries in clean jars to the top, sprinkling with granulated sugar to taste. The berries will settle during sterilization, so we fill the jars quite tightly, but at the same time we do not crush the raw materials.
step 3 out of 5
We proceed to sterilization. We put a towel in a wide saucepan or basin so that the jars do not burst during boiling. We put jars of raspberries on the fabric and pour in water in such an amount that it reaches the level of the "shoulders" of the jars.
step 4 out of 5
We cover the jars with lids. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. We simmer for forty-five minutes over low heat. By the end of sterilization, the sugar should completely dissolve, and the raspberries will be covered with their own juice. Then we take out the cans one at a time and carefully tighten the lids.
step 5 out of 5
We turn the sealed cans upside down to check the tightness and leave to cool in this position.
We remove the cooled blanks with raspberries in a cool, dark place for storage.
Bon Appetit!
