Raspberries in their own juice with sugar for the winter

Raspberries prepared using this method do not require the addition of a large amount of sugar. Jars of berries are sterilized, so they will be well stored with a minimum amount. Raspberries retain their shape and whole berries are clearly visible. The taste is natural and rich.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We prepare raspberries: we sort it out from accidental inclusions, debris and defective specimens. If there are even slightly rotten berries, we throw them away so as not to spoil the taste of the preparation.
step 2 out of 5
Then put the raspberries in small portions in a colander and quickly rinse with cool water. After that, sprinkle the berries on a towel and let them dry from excess moisture. Wash the jars with lids thoroughly and let them dry.
step 3 out of 5
Pour the prepared raspberries into clean jars, sprinkle with granulated sugar. We fill the container to the top and even form a small slide - the berries will settle during sterilization. Cover with lids.
step 4 out of 5
Now we proceed to sterilization. We put cans of raspberries into a wide saucepan or basin and pour in water in such an amount that it reaches the level of their "shoulders". We put on the stove and bring to a boil. We boil for ten minutes. Then we take out the cans one at a time and carefully tighten the lids.
step 5 out of 5
We turn the twisted cans upside down to check the tightness. We cover them in this position with a warm blanket and leave to cool - additional passive sterilization. We put the cooled jars with raspberries in a cool dark place for storage.
Bon Appetit!
