Raspberry jam with mint

The excellent flavor combination of mint and raspberry gives some zest to your favorite jam. Raspberry mint jam will be your favorite delicacy and a wonderful gift for any sweet tooth. Such a treat will not go unnoticed, gourmets will not pass by.

Prepare everything for making raspberry mint jam. Sort the raspberries carefully. If necessary, put the berries in a sieve, rinse gently and let the excess liquid drain. Put the prepared berries in a metal bowl with a thick bottom, add the required amount of drinking water, put on medium heat and bring to a boil.

Remove the cooked raspberries from the heat and rub through a fine sieve with a tablespoon or potato grinder. Put the grated raspberries back into the metal cooking container.

Chop white chocolate with a sharp knife or grate. Rinse and dry fresh mint, tear off the leaves from the branches.

Fill the grated raspberries with the required amount of granulated sugar, mix thoroughly, add mint leaves, put on medium heat and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and cook the jam for about 7 minutes.

Gently remove the mint leaves, add the chopped white chocolate and cook the jam for about 7 minutes more. During this time, the white chocolate is completely dissolved and evenly distributed. Prepare the jars, wash them thoroughly and sterilize them in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be completely dry.

Using a ladle, carefully pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of raspberry jam with sterile lids, turn upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave to cool completely, then turn the jars over and transfer them to a cool, dark place for storage. Serve cooled raspberry jam with mint with aromatic tea.
