Hot salted cucumbers

When homemade cucumbers begin to grow actively in their own summer cottage, I want to cook something quickly so that they do not deteriorate. A favorite recipe for homemade vegetables is lightly salted cucumbers cooked with hot salting.

First of all, prepare all the required ingredients. Prepare a container in which you will salt the cucumbers. I usually take a three-liter jar, for me this is a convenient way. Wash the jar well in warm water with baking soda, and then sterilize in a water bath. Choose a cucumber size that fits well in the jar.

Prepare the brine. Pour the required amount of water into a saucepan with a thick bottom and put the pan on fire. Bring to a boil and then add the required amount of granulated sugar, table salt and black peppercorns.

Rinse the leaves of horseradish, black currants and cherries, as well as dill umbrellas under running water, and then shake off excess moisture. Place about a third of the prepared greenery at the bottom of a sterile jar.

Then lay out a row of cucumbers. Put the herbs and leaves again, as well as the peeled garlic, previously peeled and washed in cold water.

Alternating between cucumbers and herbs, fill the jar completely. And then gently fill with hot brine.

Close the jar with a nylon lid, after pouring boiling water over it. Leave the jar of cucumbers at room temperature for a day, in a place where the sun's rays do not fall. After the time has elapsed, move the jar with lightly salted cucumbers to the refrigerator for cooling and subsequent storage.

Serve aromatic crispy lightly salted cucumbers on a plate with your favorite dishes. Store lightly salted cucumbers in the refrigerator or other cool place.
