Hot salted cucumbers for 1 liter of brine

Lightly salted cucumbers are a versatile snack that can be prepared hot and cold. It is also cooked in a saucepan, in a jar and even in a bag. I propose to cook lightly salted cucumbers in a hot way for 1 liter of brine. The appetizer is aromatic and very crispy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
First of all, prepare all the necessary ingredients for making lightly salted cucumbers. Choose medium sized cucumbers.
step 2 out of 7
Wash them thoroughly under cold running water, then dry and trim the ends. Prepare a jar or any other container in which you will pickle cucumbers. I prefer to cook these cucumbers in a jar.
step 3 out of 7
Wash the jar thoroughly with baking soda in warm water, and then sterilize in the microwave. Sterilizing is optional, but I do sterilize. Rinse the dill thoroughly in cold water, then shake off excess moisture. Peel the garlic and rinse in running water. Place the dill umbrellas and the required amount of peeled garlic at the bottom of the sterile jar.
step 4 out of 7
Take up the preparation of the brine. Pour the required amount of drinking water into a saucepan, add the required amount of coarse salt, as well as black peppercorns and bay leaves. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
step 5 out of 7
Fill the prepared jar with young cucumbers, as tightly as possible.
step 6 out of 7
After boiling, boil the brine for literally a few minutes, and then remove from the heat and fill in the prepared jar with cucumbers, cover with a nylon lid, having previously doused with boiling water, or use gauze for this purpose. Place in a cool place in the room and leave for about a day.
step 7 out of 7
Before serving, place the prepared lightly salted cucumbers in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, and then serve with your favorite dishes on the table.

Bon Appetit!
