Cooking lightly salted cucumbers dry in 20 minutes is easy! We wash, put in a bag and add spices - that's it! The most tedious thing is to wait for them to be marinated. But as a result, we get crispy, fragrant lightly salted cucumbers saturated with aromas of garlic, pepper and herbs. Cucumbers are a great cold snack option or a great alternative to a fresh vegetable salad.

We wash the cucumbers well in cool running water. Then put it in a deep bowl and fill it with cold water so that it covers all the cucumbers. We leave them for 30-40 minutes.

After a while, we drain the water and put the cucumbers on a kitchen towel, leave for 10-15 minutes so that they dry from the water. Then we cut off the tips of the cucumbers and put them in a clean, dense plastic bag.

We wash the dill under cool running water and put it on a kitchen towel so that it dries a little. Peel and wash the garlic. Cut the chives into thin slices. Coarsely chop the dill with a knife. If you want to get spicier cucumbers, you can add finely chopped ginger or horseradish root to them.

Add chopped garlic and dill to the bag with cucumbers. Put the black pepper in a mortar and grind it with a pestle, add it to the bag to the cucumbers along with salt and sugar.

Tie the bag of cucumbers tightly and shake well for 2-3 minutes so that all the ingredients mix well. We leave the cucumbers at room temperature for 1-1.5 hours, periodically shaking the bag so that the cucumbers are evenly salted. Then we put the bag of cucumbers in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. This amount of time is enough for the cucumbers to turn out lightly salted. If you marinate them longer, they will turn out to be quite salty.
