Lightly salted cucumbers in a package is a simple and quick snack. For pickling, medium-sized cucumbers should be selected, small cucumbers look more appetizing and are salted in less time.

Rinse fresh cucumbers thoroughly under running water. Place in a deep container and cover with cold water. The cucumbers should be covered completely. Leave the cucumbers to soak for half an hour.

Remove the cucumbers from the water, let dry. Cut off the ends on both sides. Put the prepared cucumbers in a tight plastic bag.

Rinse the dill greens thoroughly in cool water, let dry, coarsely cut into several pieces. Peel the garlic. Cut into thin slices.

Put chopped dill and garlic in a bag with cucumbers. Crush the peppercorns in a mortar or the flat side of a knife. Put in a bag, add salt and granulated sugar.
