Lightly salted cucumbers in brine in a jar

Lightly salted cucumbers are a versatile and simple snack that can be prepared in minutes. It takes a little patience to taste crispy and flavorful cucumbers. One of my favorites is the recipe for lightly salted cucumbers in brine cooked in a jar.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
First, prepare all the necessary ingredients for lightly salted cucumbers. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly in cold running water. For a lightly salted snack, choose medium-sized young cucumbers. Rinse the cilantro greens thoroughly under running cool water and shake off excess moisture.
step 2 out of 9
Then pat dry the cucumbers with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel. Trim the ends of the vegetables.
step 3 out of 9
Wash the jar in which you will salt the cucumbers well in warm water with detergent or baking soda and a dishwashing sponge. Sterilize the jar in the microwave. Sterilization is optional, but I always do sterilization. Place cilantro at the bottom of a sterile jar.
step 4 out of 9
Peel young garlic from the upper husk and rinse in cold running water. Add to jar.
step 5 out of 9
Place the cucumbers tightly together in the jar.
step 6 out of 9
Pour the required amount of cold drinking water into a saucepan with a thick bottom. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Then carefully pour the water into a deep container, add the required amount of table salt and mix well until the salt crystals are completely dissolved.
step 7 out of 9
Carefully pour the prepared pickle over the cucumbers. Cover the jar of cucumbers with a lid, after pouring boiling water over it, and leave for about 5-7 hours in a room room.
step 8 out of 9
Place the jar of cucumbers in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to cool before serving the crispy quick snack.
step 9 out of 9
After cooling, put the cucumbers on a plate and serve a fragrant snack on the table with your favorite dishes.

Bon Appetit!
