Greek yogurt mannik

For those with a sweet tooth who are very fond of homemade cakes, I highly recommend preparing manna with Greek yogurt. Mannik is obtained with a delicate moist texture and is perfect for any festive feast.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Measure out the required amount of wheat flour, sift through a fine sieve into a deep container with baking powder. Mix well.
step 2 out of 10
Divide chicken eggs into whites and yolks. Place the chicken proteins in the refrigerator to cool.
step 3 out of 10
Put pre-softened butter and 125 grams of granulated sugar in a mixer bowl. Beat until smooth on a low mixer speed. Then add the chicken yolks, increase the speed and continue beating.
step 4 out of 10
Pour in the required amount of Greek yogurt, add sea salt and half the flour mixture with baking powder. Beat at medium mixer speed.
step 5 out of 10
Measure out the required amount of semolina and pour into the mixer bowl along with the other half of the flour mixture with baking powder.
step 6 out of 10
Add chilled chicken whites last and beat until smooth.
step 7 out of 10
Grease a metal mold with olive oil, fill with the prepared dough. Place the form in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake the manna for about 30 minutes. Check the readiness of the manna with a toothpick. Carefully remove the mold with the manna from the oven, cool a little, carefully remove the manna from the metal mold.
step 8 out of 10
Make a syrup. Put the remaining granulated sugar in a saucepan, and fill with drinking water, put on low heat and cook until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved. When the syrup turns caramel in color and thickens a little, remove from heat and cool.
step 9 out of 10
Whip the cream until a thick, fluffy foam forms.
step 10 out of 10
Put the cooled, airy manna on Greek yogurt on a dish, pour over the prepared syrup, cut into portions, and serve, garnished with whipped cream, with aromatic tea or freshly brewed coffee.

Enjoy incredibly tasty manna!
