Mannik on kefir without flour in a slow cooker

We offer a recipe for manna, which does not need flour at all. An excellent dessert option for those who want to give up flour for any reason. The mannik turns out to be very tender, but it is easy to cook, thanks to the multicooker.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Pour semolina into a wide bowl and fill it with kefir. Mix the components well and leave to stand for an hour or two. During this time, the semolina should swell and soften. The longer the mixture stays, the more the semolina will swell, and the tastier the manna will turn out.
step 2 out of 8
While the mixture is infusing, we continue to cook the rest of the dough. To do this, mix eggs with sugar in a separate bowl.
step 3 out of 8
Beat them with a mixer at high speed. The sugar crystals must completely dissolve. There is no need to beat until a dense foam is formed.
step 4 out of 8
When the semolina with kefir is infused, mix it with the egg-sugar mixture, add the baking powder. Knead the mixture with a whisk until completely homogeneous. At this stage, if desired, you can add raisins, chopped walnuts, apple pieces and other additions to the dough.
step 5 out of 8
We prepare the multicooker bowl for baking, for this you need to grease it well with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or semolina.
step 6 out of 8
We spread the dough for the manna in the prepared bowl, level the surface with a spoon. We close the lid of the multicooker and set the “Baking” mode for 60 minutes. When the ready signal sounds, let the manna stand in a closed multicooker for an additional 10-15 minutes. This will give a special tenderness and juiciness to the finished product.
step 7 out of 8
We remove the manna from the bowl and put it on the wire rack to cool.
step 8 out of 8
We decorate the cooled manna according to our own taste, supplement it with your favorite toppings when serving. Fruit jams and just whipped cream go well with manna.

Bon Appetit!
