Mannik on kefir with blueberries

Blueberries are very valuable for the vitamins and microelements they contain. It is worth including it in your daily menu as often as possible. Adding this colorful berry to baked goods will not only add value, but also significantly transform the final taste. For manna according to this recipe, you can use both fresh blueberries and frozen ones. When adding frozen berries, you do not need to defrost them first, since in this case it will simply lose its shape while mixing with the dough.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Pour semolina into a large bowl and pour in kefir. Mix the components with a whisk until a homogeneous mass is obtained and let it stand at room temperature for ten minutes. Then add eggs, granulated sugar and thoroughly knead everything together using a whisk manually or with a mixer. Sift flour with baking powder on top of the resulting mass and mix again until completely homogeneous.
step 2 out of 4
Melt margarine in the microwave or on the stove to a liquid state and pour into the dough, mix. Place the blueberries in a small bowl and sprinkle with starch. The starch will keep the berry juice from spreading over the dough during baking. To distribute the starch evenly over the blueberries, gently tilt the bowl in different directions and shake it slightly. Sprinkle the berries sprinkled with starch into the prepared dough and mix gently with a spoon or spatula - we try not to transfer the tender blueberries.
step 3 out of 4
Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. If the baking dish is made of silicone, you do not need to grease it. Pour the dough into a mold and put it in an oven preheated to a temperature of 180 degrees at a medium level. We bake the manna for approximately forty minutes. If there are doubts about the readiness of the product, then you can stick a toothpick into the middle - it should come out dry, without traces of wet dough.
step 4 out of 4
We take the finished manna out of the oven and let it cool slightly right in the mold. Then transfer the pastries to a serving platter and cool completely. Sprinkle the surface with sifted icing sugar for decoration, cut into portions and serve.

Bon Appetit!
