We suggest diversifying the manna recipe with berries. Strawberries are ideal for this purpose. This juicy berry with a delicate sourness will make baked goods juicier, more interesting in taste and more aromatic. And the sight of a bright berry against the background of crumbly dough pleases the eye and causes a strong desire to immediately take a sample. Strawberries work either fresh or frozen. In the latter case, the berries must be allowed to completely defrost, and the resulting juice must be drained.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Add the oil mass to the softened semolina and mix. Then stir in the whipped egg whites in portions, making circular movements. Lastly, sift the flour along with the baking powder and add to the dough. Knead it with a whisk until the lumps disappear completely. We wash the strawberries, dry them and, if necessary, cut them into pieces. Grease the baking dish with butter. Put half the dough in the prepared form and put the strawberries on it. Spread the remaining dough on top and level the surface with a spoon.
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. We put the form with manna on the middle level and bake for forty minutes. At the end of baking, we check the product for readiness by sticking a toothpick into the middle. If it comes out dry, without sticking dough, then the manna is ready. We take it out of the oven, let it cool and transfer it to a serving dish. In the cooled state, sprinkle the baked goods with powdered sugar, cut into portions and serve.
Bon Appetit!
