Mannik on the water in a multicooker

Mannik, cooked in water in a multicooker, turns out to have an unusually delicate moist texture. For cooking, simple ingredients are used that can be found in the supplies of any hostess. If you don't have an oven, but you have a slow cooker, then this recipe is for you.

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Measure out the required amount of semolina and pour into a deep bowl. Then add the amount of granulated sugar specified in the recipe.
step 2 out of 8
Then pour in the required amount of hot drinking water. Stir well, cover and leave for about 20-30 minutes to swell, stirring occasionally.
step 3 out of 8
Sift the required amount of wheat flour, salt, vanillin and baking powder into a separate deep bowl. Mix thoroughly and gradually add to the swollen semolina. Mix well.
step 4 out of 8
Add the required amount of vegetable oil to the resulting dough. Mix thoroughly with a whisk.
step 5 out of 8
Rinse dried apricots well under cool running water, pat dry on a paper towel, and then chop with a knife and put in the dough. Stir the flavored dough thoroughly. Instead of dried apricots, you can take any other dried fruits or candied fruits.
step 6 out of 8
Lubricate the multicooker bowl with a small amount of vegetable oil, and then pour out the cooked dough, spreading it evenly with a silicone spatula. Close the lid of the multicooker. On the device panel, select the "Baking" mode, set the cooking time - 1 hour. Click the "Start" button. After the beep, turn off the device, leave the manna for another 15 minutes.
step 7 out of 8
Then open the lid of the appliance, using the steaming basket, carefully remove the manna and put it on a dish. Cool completely and sprinkle with a little powdered sugar.
step 8 out of 8
Cut the cooled manna in water into portions and serve with your favorite drinks.

Bon Appetit!

I tried to make manna according to your recipe, but 200 ml of water is not enough for the dough to have the consistency shown in the photo. Perhaps some moment has been missed.
