Mannik with strawberry jam

If you want to pleasantly surprise your family with delicious and quick homemade cakes, use a simple and easy-to-prepare recipe for manna with strawberry jam. I often prepare such pies in the spring, when there is still jam in stock, and the season of fresh berries will begin soon.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Pour the required amount of semolina into a deep container. Then pour out the required amount of kefir. Mix thoroughly and leave for about 20-30 minutes to swell, stirring occasionally.
step 2 out of 6
Break a chicken egg into the swollen semolina and add the required amount of granulated sugar and strawberry jam. Mix thoroughly with a mixer until smooth. You can also use a whisk. Measure out the required amount of wheat flour and sift through a sieve along with baking powder into the dough, mix thoroughly.
step 3 out of 6
Pour in vegetable oil and mix well. Fill a metal baking dish with the prepared dough, having previously greased it with a small amount of vegetable oil. Place the form in an oven preheated to 190 degrees. Bake the manna for about 35-40 minutes. Check the readiness of the baking with a toothpick. It must be completely dry.
step 4 out of 6
After the time has passed, carefully so as not to burn your hands, remove the mold with manna from the oven, cool it a little, and then remove the dessert from the metal mold. Put the cooled manna with strawberry jam on a dish.
step 5 out of 6
Cut into portions and serve with your favorite drinks.
step 6 out of 6
The cake has a delicate crumbly texture and incredible strawberry flavor.
