Pickled cabbage with carrots and instant garlic

We offer a recipe for instant pickled cabbage. We cut it into small pieces, do not chop it. This cabbage will be ready in about 8-10 hours. The appetizer turns out to be very tasty: with a pronounced sweet and sour note, crispy, juicy. It must be stored in the marinade and in the refrigerator. The ingredients are given in a three-liter jar.

We remove the top contaminated leaves from the cabbage and cut out the stump. We wash the head of cabbage, dry it and cut it into small squares.

We clean the carrots, wash, dry and cut into thin cubes. Peel the garlic and chop finely.

Put chopped cabbage in a clean, dry jar, shifting it with carrots, garlic, coriander and pieces of bay leaf. We tamp with our hands - the vegetables should lie tightly.

To prepare the marinade, put salt, sugar and vegetable oil in the water. Bring the marinade to a boil, cook for three minutes, pour in the vinegar, stir and remove from the stove. Pour cabbage with carrots and garlic in a jar with hot marinade. The vegetable mixture should be completely covered with the marinade.

We close the jar with a lid. Let it cool completely and put it in the refrigerator for eight to ten hours. After the specified time has elapsed, the cabbage can already be served. We store the cabbage in the refrigerator, all closed. We make sure that the cabbage is covered with marinade all the time.
