Pickled beets with vinegar for the winter

In winter, it is difficult to refrain from eating a jar or two of a fragrant preparation. Vitamin reserves in the body can be replenished by opening pickled beets for lunch, harvested on their own in the summer. The roll contains a minimum of ingredients, while the taste is not worse than that of products from the store.

Wash the beets with a brush and peel, rinse again.

Rub the root vegetables on a coarse grater.

Pour in granulated sugar, salt, add refined deodorized vegetable oil. To mix everything. Simmer the mixture over low heat for about 1 hour. In 5 min. before the end of cooking, pour in vinegar, mix.

Roll the pickled beets into sterilized jars, boiling the lids beforehand. Cool the seams upside down under a warm blanket, then take them to the basement for storage.
