How wonderful it is to open a jar of pickled mushrooms in winter and enjoy their rich taste! Pickled porcini mushrooms are an incredibly tasty appetizer that will not only delight loved ones, but also decorate the festive table. Such a mushroom appetizer disperses very quickly, therefore it is better to harvest it in large volumes, it is practical to do this in liter cans.

Wash the porcini mushrooms thoroughly, having previously cleaned them of debris. Next, you need to cut the mushrooms into approximately equal medium-sized pieces.

We collect water in a saucepan, put on fire and bring to a boil. We send the prepared mushrooms into boiling water, boil them for 15 minutes. After cooking, put the porcini mushrooms in a colander, rinse with running water.

The next step is preparing the marinade. In a separate container, mix water, salt, granulated sugar and vinegar, mix everything.

We shift the mushrooms into the pan, pour the marinade to them, put on the fire. Add cloves, allspice and bay leaf to the same place. After boiling, boil the mushrooms for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally and removing the foam that appears. Almost at the very end, add garlic to the mushrooms, previously chopped in an arbitrary way.

Put the mushrooms in a sterilized container together with the marinade, seal with a lid. Cool the marinated porcini mushroom blank at room temperature, it is better to store it in a cool place.
