Pickled cucumbers gherkins as in the store

Delicious and crunchy small cucumbers are easy to make at home. They will taste exactly like store-bought ones, only even better. These cucumbers will be an excellent snack and will help in the preparation of many dishes - for example, meat hodgepodge.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Rinse the freshly picked little gherkins thoroughly in running water, and then soak them in ice water for four hours. This will make them crisper and tastier.
step 2 out of 7
Prepare the spices for pickling in advance so that everything is enough and nothing is forgotten.
step 3 out of 7
When the preparatory processes are over, it's time to prepare the marinade. Put a liter of clean water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil on the stove. Sterilize jars and lids at the same time as you like.
step 4 out of 7
Put greens at the bottom of each sterile jar - dill, leaves. Add garlic, cloves, bay leaves, and other spices. Next, tamp the jars with gherkins. Pour boiling water over the jars and leave for ten minutes.
step 5 out of 7
Pour the water from the cans back into the saucepan and turn on the heat again. When the liquid boils, refill the jars with liquid for ten minutes. Drain the liquid again and add salt and granulated sugar to it. Stir the marinade, wait until the salt and sugar dissolve, bring the liquid to a boil, then add vinegar to the marinade.
step 6 out of 7
This time, for the last time, distribute the boiling marinade among the jars of gherkins and immediately roll up the cucumbers with lids. Turn the jars upside down immediately until they cool completely.
step 7 out of 7
Store ready-made gherkins in a cool dark place for a year, no more.
