But do not be afraid to try new ones, because you can always find a better recipe and make it traditional for the family. Here is a recipe for delicious and crispy cucumbers for the winter. The indicated amount of ingredients is based on a 1.5 liter jar.

Rinse fresh cucumbers well and fill with clean water, leaving in this form for 2 hours. The vegetables must be hydrated.

Sterilize clean jars for 10 minutes. Boil the lids in water for about 5 minutes.

Next, you need to prepare the rest of the ingredients. Pour boiling water over the dill umbrellas and bay leaves and drain the liquid after 3 minutes.

Rinse the bell peppers, remove the inner seeds and cut in half or 4 pieces.

Clean the cloves of garlic and rinse with water.

At the bottom of the sterilized cans we put 2 dill umbrellas, 2 bay leaves and 5 black peppercorns.

Then we send chopped bell peppers and garlic to the jars.

We drain the water from the cucumbers, cut off the tips on both sides and put the vegetables in jars. Initially, we put the cucumbers vertically, on top we make a couple of horizontal rows. You can put one dill umbrella on top of the cucumbers.

Next, fill the jars with boiling water. Cover with lids and leave for 10 minutes. After that, the liquid must be drained.

We repeat the procedure - again pour boiling water over the vegetables for 10 minutes.

Let's prepare the marinade. We collect water in a saucepan and after boiling, add granulated sugar and salt to it. Stir and let it boil again.

Drain the water from the jars and pour the finished marinade into them. Add the required amount of vinegar, close the lids and roll up. Turn jars of cucumbers upside down, cover with warm clothes and let cool completely. After cooling, place the cucumbers in a cool place for storage.
