Pickled tomatoes with onion wedges

The pickling process means preserving vegetables in brine with seasonings and spices, due to which they acquire such a vigorous taste and retain their strength. Housewives are very fond of pickling tomatoes with onions. As for onions, they themselves are so tasty that they disappear from the jar faster than tomatoes.
