Pickled tomatoes with mustard

A simple home preservation option will be a wonderful appetizer with various hot dishes or an independent cold dish. You can store it at room temperature, and tomatoes will pickle quickly - after a couple of days you can taste it.

Wash the jars thoroughly with baking soda and dry. Sort the tomatoes by size and ripeness. Rinse and dry with a towel.

Pour peeled and washed garlic, dill, peppercorns and a whole washed hot pepper pod into the jars.

Place tightly ripe and strong pre-washed tomatoes in the jar, leaving the jar 5 centimeters empty.

Pour boiling water into the jar, cover with a lid and let it brew for 15 minutes.

Prepare mustard powder at the rate of 1 teaspoon to 2 liters. jar.

Dissolve salt and sugar in water and simmer for a couple of minutes. Pour the brine into a jar, add mustard and immediately seal with lids. Turn the jars over and cover with a blanket to cool slowly overnight.
