If you are already tired of fresh tomato salad, and it has not yet come to seaming, you can diversify the menu with pickled tomatoes. They prepare very quickly. An important nuance in this recipe is the use of honey in the marinade. Combined with vinegar, olive oil and spices, honey is no longer a dessert ingredient. It complements tomatoes with a delicate sweetness and characteristic aroma. There is no reason not to try a snack like this!

First you need to prepare the marinade. To do this, mix olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, honey and a mixture of ground peppers in a small bowl.

We wash the parsley and basil, dry and chop finely with a knife. Add the herbs to the marinade bowl and shake everything together with a fork.

Wash the tomatoes and dry them thoroughly. If the fruits are small, it is sufficient to cut them in half. If the tomatoes are large, then cut them into four parts. Cut out the trace from the stalk with the tip of a knife. We put chopped tomatoes in a large bowl.
