Clean the mushrooms from small forest debris and rinse thoroughly under running water. Boil water in a large saucepan. Transfer the prepared mushrooms to boiling water.

Cook the mushrooms for 15 minutes. Then discard them in a colander and rinse again with running water. Transfer the mushrooms to the same saucepan.

Pour the amount of water indicated in the recipe to the mushrooms, add salt and sugar and put the peas and laurel. Boil the mushrooms in the marinade for 15 minutes from the start of the boil.
