Pickled arrows of garlic for the winter

I recommend preparing pickled garlic arrows for the winter. This aromatic appetizer goes well with meat and potato dishes. The spicy arrows of garlic are crispy and moderately spicy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare garlic arrows. Go through and rinse thoroughly under running water, dry, cut the buds. Cut the stems into three to four pieces. Try to cut into equal sized pieces.
step 2 out of 5
Wash the jars thoroughly with a sponge and detergent, sterilize in a microwave oven, in an oven or in a water bath. Pour boiling water over the leaves and herbs and place them on the bottom of sterile jars.
step 3 out of 5
Put the chopped arrows tightly in sterile jars, fill with pre-prepared boiling water. Pour boiling water over the lids and cover the jars with them. Leave the jars as they are for 10-15 minutes. Pour the liquid from the cans into a saucepan, add granulated sugar and coarse salt. Bring to a boil, then pour in the vinegar, stir and remove from heat.
step 4 out of 5
Add black peppercorns and mustard to the jars, pour over the cooked marinade. Tighten the caps well. Turn the jars upside down, cover with a blanket and leave as they are until they cool completely.
step 5 out of 5
When the jars are completely cool, move them to a cool, dark place for long-term storage.

Bon Appetit!
