Honey cake without a water bath

We present to your attention a not quite traditional way of making the well-known honey cake. Since this method does not involve the use of a water bath, thanks to which you can significantly save your own time and pamper your family with a honey cake.

Break eggs into a separate container, add honey, sugar and a pinch of salt to them. We mix everything thoroughly with a mixer.

We send flour, soda slaked with vinegar to the total mass, then mix everything thoroughly again.

We cover the bottom of the form with parchment paper. It must be greased with oil, then lightly sprinkled with flour on its walls and bottom.

Divide our dough in half. We put the cake formed from one part in the oven and bake for half an hour at a temperature of 180 degrees. Then we do the same with the second part of the test.

In a separate bowl, carefully beat the sugar combined with sour cream.

Put shortbread cookies in a bag and use a rolling pin to grind them. We will use the resulting crumb to decorate our cake.

Cut the finished cakes in half. At the exit, we should get four cakes. We spread the cake on a flat plate, thoroughly coat it with cream. In the same way, we form the rest of the layers of our cake.
