Honey cake made from ready-made cakes

When you want a cake, but there is no time for baking, ready-made cakes will come to the rescue. A honey cake from such a semi-finished product turns out to be tender and tasty. It is important to take the cream seriously: condensed milk should be of high quality and include only milk and sugar. It is better to take sour cream of high fat content - it will give creamy tenderness without unnecessary sourness. And, of course, do not forget about the decorative crumb! This is a must-have for a honey cake that will hide visual flaws and give the cake a traditional look.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Preparing products for the cake. We release the cakes from packaging. We open the boiled condensed milk. If the condensed milk still needs to be boiled, proceed to the next step.
step 2 out of 10
We put a jar of condensed milk in a saucepan of a larger volume, fill it with cold water so that it completely covers the jar, and put it on the stove. Bring to a boil over medium temperature so that the condensed milk has time to warm up gradually. Cook on a low boil for two hours with the lid half closed. We make sure that the water does not boil away. If necessary, add boiling water to the pan to replenish the required amount of water. After the specified time has elapsed, remove the pan from the stove and let it cool. The cooled can of condensed milk can be opened.
step 3 out of 10
Put the boiled condensed milk in a wide bowl and mix with sour cream.
step 4 out of 10
Beat the components with a mixer until a homogeneous cream without lumps is obtained.
step 5 out of 10
Put the cakes on a flat dish and grease them with the prepared cream. We leave one cake separately.
step 6 out of 10
We try to distribute the cream evenly between all the cakes so that the cake is soaked around the entire perimeter. The top cake also needs to be generously greased with cream.
step 7 out of 10
Break the left cake into pieces and place in the blender bowl.
step 8 out of 10
Grind it until fine crumbs are obtained.
step 9 out of 10
Sprinkle the surface and all the edges of the cake with the resulting crumb.
step 10 out of 10
Let the finished cake soak in the refrigerator for several hours. Cut into portions and serve.

Bon Appetit!
