Hastily honey cake

A very quick recipe for a honey cake on kefir is made from simple products that will probably end up at home, and is a great dessert for the case when guests are coming soon, and you have nothing to offer for tea. The cakes are porous, and the light cream will quickly saturate them.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Break eggs into a bowl and add sugar.
step 2 out of 10
Beat well until foamy and until the sugar grains are completely dissolved.
step 3 out of 10
Put honey and soda in the dough and beat again.
step 4 out of 10
Pour kefir into the mass, and beat again. The dough should foam, this is how the soda interacts with the sour milk product.
step 5 out of 10
Sift flour into the dough.
step 6 out of 10
Stir gently and slowly so that the dough does not fall off.
step 7 out of 10
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and pour the dough into it. Cover the bowl with foil. Bake at 160 degrees in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
step 8 out of 10
Combine kefir, vanillin and sugar in a separate plate, stir and set aside.
step 9 out of 10
If you want the cake crust to have a pronounced honey taste and soft - grease the still hot sponge cake with honey liquid (1 teaspoon honey and 100 ml water) and leave to cool.
step 10 out of 10
Cut the cooled base in half into 2 cakes and soak both well with kefir cream. Place one on top of the other and serve.

Enjoy your tea!
