Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Melt the butter in a deep saucepan, then add honey and soda. Mix the mass well, it should foam. After that, immediately remove the pan from the heat. Let the mass cool.
step 2 out of 7
Beat eggs into a bowl, add sugar and beat well with a whisk until foam forms.
step 3 out of 7
Combine the egg and honey mass, add milk and mix all the ingredients well using a mixer. Then in several stages we sift the flour, not forgetting to knead well so that there are no lumps. As a result, we got a liquid homogeneous dough.
step 4 out of 7
We put a pan on the fire to warm up, in which we will bake the cakes. Lubricate it with vegetable oil and spread out 2 tablespoons of dough. We distribute it over the pan so that we get an even crust. As soon as one side is browned, turn the cake over to the other and fry until golden brown. Thus, we fry all the cakes.
step 5 out of 7
Let's take up the preparation of the cream: in a saucepan, mix the eggs with sugar, beat with a whisk, then add the starch. We put the pan on the fire, add milk, bring the mass to a boil, stirring constantly with a whisk. After the cream has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
step 6 out of 7
Grease the finished cakes with cream. We spread 2-2.5 tablespoons of cream on each cake. You can add walnuts, prunes, or banana between the layers. We leave the cake to soak at room temperature for a couple of hours.
step 7 out of 7
Cut the finished cake into portions and serve with a cup of aromatic tea. Enjoy your tea!
