Rarely will anyone refuse to pamper themselves with a delicious honey cake, and cooked with your own hands, it is twice as delicious. Heat honey in a water bath, add soda, stirring constantly, cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add the butter, cut into pieces, do not stop stirring, the butter should melt completely. Remove the mixture from heat, set aside to cool.

Add the cooled honey mass and salt to the eggs, mix. Sift the flour and add to the bowl with the other ingredients as well. Knead the dough, in consistency it will resemble thick sour cream.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If the size of the baking sheet allows, lay out all the dough and flatten it into a layer 3-4 millimeters thick. Otherwise, you can bake the cakes in two approaches.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees, bake the cake for 6-8 minutes. Cut the finished cake into several equal parts. Grind the cuttings into crumbs.
