Honey cake in a multicooker Polaris

For those who love honey and pastries with it, honey cake is the perfect dessert. Fragrant, airy cakes and delicate butter cream - a delicious combination. You might think that making this cake takes a lot of hassle, however it is not. Moreover, for baking cakes, you can even do without an oven. In a multicooker, honey dough also bakes well, and its texture becomes layered, porous and at the same time caramel-viscous. For the cream, we use a combination of butter, condensed milk, lemon juice and sour cream - the finished mass turns out to be amazingly tasty!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Put honey in a thick-walled stewpan and heat it to a liquid state. Pour in the baking powder, mix well and keep the mixture on the stove at medium-low temperature for a minute. The mass will foam and increase in size, and by the end of heating it will darken slightly.
step 2 out of 9
Beat eggs with vanilla and granulated sugar in a separate volumetric bowl. It is better to do this with a mixer at high speed so that the foam is airy and dense, like for a classic biscuit. When the egg-sugar mass turns white, pour honey and baking powder into it and mix thoroughly.
step 3 out of 9
Add the sifted flour in small portions, gradually kneading the dough. The consistency of the finished mass should be quite liquid, pouring like on pancakes.
step 4 out of 9
Grease the inner walls of the bowl with butter and pour out the prepared dough. Place the bowl in the appliance, close the lid and select the "Baking" mode for 1 hour 10 minutes.
step 5 out of 9
After the program time has elapsed, open the lid of the multicooker and check the readiness of the dough by sticking a toothpick into it. If the stick comes out dry, the product is ready. If there are traces of wet dough, close the lid of the multicooker and add ten minutes of the time of the previous mode. Then we do the readiness test again.
step 6 out of 9
Carefully remove the baked workpiece from the bowl, turning it upside down. Let the product cool completely.
step 7 out of 9
We cut the workpiece across into four cakes. It is convenient to use a thin thread for this. To begin with, we make shallow cuts around the circumference of the workpiece, thus dividing it into cakes. We wrap the cuts with a thread, cross it and pull the ends in opposite directions. The cut should be perfectly flat.
step 8 out of 9
To prepare the cream in a bowl, mix soft butter and condensed milk with a mixer. When the mass becomes completely homogeneous, add all the sour cream in portions, without stopping whipping. Pour in lemon juice last and stir. Layer the cakes with the prepared cream and form a cake. The surface and edges of the honey cake are also well lubricated with cream.
step 9 out of 9
Three chocolate on a coarse grater and sprinkle the surface of the honey cake with the resulting shavings. The finished cake must be allowed to soak for at least four hours, otherwise the cakes will not have time to soften from the cream and remain dry.

Bon Appetit!
