Happy owners of multicooker can experiment endlessly. In this device, you can cook jam, stew chicken, and bake pies. By the way, the multicooker bowl is the perfect shape for round cakes. The baked dough piece does not need to be leveled; all that remains is to cut it lengthwise into several cakes. We use whipped cream with powdered sugar as a cream for this honey cake - the finished cake turns out to be very tender and soft.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Put the honey in a saucepan and put it on the stove. Heat it, stirring continuously with a whisk, until it becomes liquid and completely homogeneous. Then add baking powder and continue stirring thoroughly. The mass will begin to foam, increase in size and darken slightly. In total, honey should stay on the stove for about two to three minutes. Remove the bowl from the stove.
Pour the sifted flour in portions and gradually knead the dough. The consistency should be of medium density, the mass should fall from the spoon in a large soft drop. Depending on the characteristics of a particular flour, you may need it a little more or less than indicated in the recipe, so we add it a little bit, focusing on getting the desired consistency.
We cut the workpiece across into three cakes. This can be done with a long sharp knife or with a thread. To do this, we cut along the circumference of the workpiece the places of future cuts and wrap them with a thread. We cross the ends of the thread and pull in different directions. This will make the thread a perfectly straight cut.
Cover the surface and edges with a layer of cream. Align the top with a culinary spatula. Sprinkle the edges of the honey cake with crushed peanuts, lightly pressing it with the palm of your hand to the cream to fix it. The cake is ready! We put it in the refrigerator and let it soak for at least two to three hours.
Bon Appetit!
